Hans graduates from the Swinburne Master of Architecture after previously completing his Bachelor of Design ( Interior Architecture ) also at Swinburne University of Technology.
Throughout his master's program, he has explored design interventions that engage with the multicultural dynamics of contemporary Australian society. His projects also reflect a strong interest in integrated sustainable design, landscape-oriented architecture, and urban solutions addressing the growing densification of urban environments.
Hans is originally from Vietnam and made the move to Melbourne, Australia, in 2019. Having grown up in an environment where art and design weren’t part of everyday life, it wasn’t until he arrived in Melbourne that he began to develop an interest in creative expression. What started as a personal outlet gradually evolved into a meaningful way for Hans to communicate ideas, emotions, and stories he once struggled to put into words.
If you look back at his early works and writings from those first years, you’ll notice traces of someone learning not just a new language, but a new way of seeing the world. Hans has chosen to leave those early pieces untouched — small, honest reminders of his growth, both as a person and as a creative.
